More than two dozen Highlands residents attended the Highlands Neighborhood Association's annual meeting on Tuesday, April 17. During the meeting, HNA board members provided a review of accomplishments over the past year including the most recent (and final) chipper truck program in the Highlands, neighborhood grants received and updates to the HNA website. Neighbors also heard updates from Highlands Cove Developer Dave Yorgason, Traffic Committee Chair Tom Seacord, and Sam Sandmire, who has been leading the effort to bring stakeholders together to fund a new restroom facility at the Harrison Hollow Trailhead. At the end of the meeting, elections were held for the 2018-19 HNA officers. Those elected are:
